Are you interested in studying at the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics and have already applied or are considering applying for a degree programme at the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics and still have unanswered questions? Then take the opportunity of the Degree Information Day on Monday 6 July to find out more about studying, the application process and to ask any questions you may have.

It is also important to us to give you the opportunity to get to know the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics better.

Programme on Monday, 6 July 2026

  • 2pm Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics welcome and presentation by Faculty Dean, Professor Dr Frank Herrmann
  • 2:30pm Information about the degree programme - the programme advisors will answer questions about studying at the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics:
    • Computer Science B.Sc. - Professor Michael Bulenda
    • International Computer Science B.Sc. - Professor Dr Ahmet Kara
    • Artificial Intelligence and Data Science B.Sc. - Professor Dr Jürgen Frikel
    • Mathematics B.Sc. and Scientific Computing B.Sc. - Professor Dr Jan-Philipp Weiß
    • Medical Computer Science B.Sc. - Professor Christoph Palm
    • Computer Engineering B.Sc. - Professor Dr Thomas Waas
    • Business Informatics B.Sc. - Professor Daniel Jobst
  • 3.15pm Campus tour - Meeting point: main entrance, K-building
  • From 3.15pm there will be an opportunity for an informal personal exchange with the lecturers and the faculty's student representatives. The Student's Union will provide barbecues and drinks.
  • 06 July 2026 at 2 pm - Registration (Each registered person will receive a food voucher and a drink voucher)
