Abstract

Kubernetes ist aktuell in aller Munde. Es bietet Entwicklern die Möglichkeit ihre Applikationen als Container auf allen möglichen Plattformen bereitzustellen. Sei es auf AWS, Azure, Google Cloud oder On-Premise.
In dem Vortrag wird ein Projekt vorgestellt, welches im Public-Sector durchgeführt wurde. Dabei geht es darum, die Besonderheiten des Public-Sectors, in dem insbesondere die Sicherheit von Anwendungen & Infrastruktur eine große Rolle spielt, zu beleuchten. Es wird erklärt, was Container sind und in diesem Zusammenhang eine Containerplattform auf Basis von Kubernetes ist.
Unter Einsatz von Terraform wird gezeigt, wie der Aufbau einer solchen Infrastruktur vollständig automatisiert aussieht. Auch wird auf die bestehende Infrastruktur mit verschiedenen Infrastrukturumgebungen (Entwicklung, Test, Produktivumgebung) eingegangen.
Der Vortag dient als Einsicht, wie ein Projekt als Aufbau einer Kubernetes-Infrastruktur beim Kunden aussehen kann und mit welchen Technologien man in Berührung kommt.

We at Sixt launched our mobility platform SIXT ONE with the new SIXT App in February 2019. A main pillar of this platform is the Sixt Share Product. Timo Steinbrenner (Director of Engineering and Division Engineering Manager Sixt Share & Mobility Platform) and Danish Nawab (Staff Engineer Sixt Share) will dive with you from the SIXT App into the Domains then deeper into the Software Architecture and explain the relation of the concepts and its benefits, plus the impact to product and teams. We will share stories about our challenges and learnings on that journey.
