Research at the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics
The Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics carries out application-oriented research and development across a wide range of fields. Topics include artificial intelligence, data science, quantum computing, software engineering, algorithms, optimisation, image recognition and processing, and security. The areas of application for these projects are diverse and include medicine, the automotive industry, and logistics. These projects are carried out in close collaboration with external partners, including commercial enterprises, local authorities, universities, and universities of applied sciences, as well as other research institutions. Research results are regularly published and presented at national and international conferences.
